    NBA Finals Preview

Published on Wednesday, April 27, 2011

NBA FinalsKentucky Derby betting enthusiasts currently have their attention on the NBA playoffs, as this year’s combatants looks to make their mark in history. Each year 16 of the best NBA betting online teams battle it out for the NBA title. However, it always seems like the same handful of teams makes up the final four and then final two teams. Yet this year, it seems like the NBA title could be won by any number of teams. Here is a look at the two teams we think will make it to the NBA finals.

This year’s NBA finals will feature two of the most criticized teams over the last few seasons. From the Eastern Conference, we truly believe that the South Beach NBA takeover will have paid dividends, as the Miami Heat go all the way to the finals. Conversely, in the Western Conference, the Dallas Mavericks will finally get the monkey off their back similar to the San Jose Sharks of the NHL.

Made up of a core of Lebron James, Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh, the Miami Heat emerged this season as one of the best in the entire NBA. Finishing up the regular season as the second seed in the East, the Heat finds themselves in a heated battle with the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite being up three games to one, the Heat haven’t had as easy of a time as they would like you to believe with the 76ers. With an upcoming series with the Boston Celtics before a date with the Bulls and then Mavericks, the Heat should be a team on everyone’s radar. Miami led the league in defense this year, and that grinding approach should be the factor that puts them over the top.

On the other hand, their NBA finals opponent, the Dallas Mavericks, are a team everyone is waiting to jump on. Similar to the San Jose Sharks of the NHL, the Mavericks are that team with all the talent in the world that continues to disappoint year after year. This year, the Mavericks put an emphasis on defense, as well as an overall team game. As a result, they’ve been able to flex their muscles on a more consistent basis over their opponents.
